Ani Christine Mooney, LCSW, LCADC
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, working in the field of mental health for 15 years. I received a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Fordham University. I hold a Post-Master’s certificate in Clinical Practice with Adolescents at New York University. I am specialized in the area of substance abuse, holding a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor certification. I have significant experience in adolescent mental health and family conflict, working with both the adolescent individually and family collectively.
I have experience in a variety of settings treating the adolescent and family. I have worked in inpatient psychiatric treatment, provided in-home therapy to the adolescent and family, have worked extensively and have knowledge of community based agencies, including with Perform Care, and have experience as a school based clinician treating school refusal. Life, undoubtedly, comes with many challenges. Sometimes we feel we have lost our way and are no longer on a path we envisioned for ourselves. Times like these can be accompanied by internal distress and frequent crises. My goal is to provide a comforting and safe space to explore these emotions.

I am a Licensed Social Worker working in the field of mental health since 2009. I received my Master’s in Social Work from Rutgers University. I recently earned my clinical addictions license.
Over the years I have worked with various populations including the homeless, individuals struggling with addiction, families/parents impacted by autism, teens and families, I have also worked with the geriatric population as well. Most of the patients I have worked with suffered from both mental illness and addictions. I have not only served the individual but the entire family, as all family members are affected by these challenges. My modalities include individual and family therapy when appropriate. I have worked in a multitude of settings, such as intensive outpatient, shelters, public housing, in-home services and as a Program Director with street homelessness outreach teams. I utilize a variety of interventions, based on your needs and the needs of your child/family.
This world will always hand us very tough obstacles and challenges. Sometimes we feel lost and are unable to find our way back. During these tough times, we may feel hopeless and in crisis. My goal is to provide the proper support and a safe space to explore these emotions. The ultimate goal is to reach total and complete freedom from any despair in your life.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, working in the field of mental health for ten years. I received my Master's of Social Work from The University of New England. I've also been trained with the Nurtured Parenting Program, helping parents and their children manage conflicts by improving communication skills and building trust through transparency.
My experience has been mostly within the NJ System of Care, working in the community doing case management, in-home therapy, group work, and community outreach. I've worked with community mentorship programs, as well as in the outpatient field with individuals from all ages, with my primary specialty working with adolescents and young adults. Utilizing a strength-based and solution-focused approach, my mission is to help you work through the mental health barriers that are stopping you from reaching your life goals. If any of these barriers include depression, anxiety, self-esteem, trauma, life transitions, or relationships, you've come to the right place. Regardless of where you came from or where you are now in life, I want to help you get to where you want to be. Your time is so valuable to me, so let's start doing the real work together.
